Technistone

Technistone is an engineered-stone brand created in Czechia, with more than 30 years of experience. Its factory stands in Hradec Králové, where construction began in 1991; by 1992 engineered-stone production was under way, using the Breton technology developed in Italy. In 1997 the company took the Technistone name.

The material is engineered stone — a quartz composite whose composition is more than 90% natural raw materials, chiefly quartz. Selected collections also use glass or mirror fractions, which give the surface a distinctive visual character. In production the raw materials are combined with binders and pigments, forming a dense, durable material with an even structure.

The surfaces are marked by low porosity, which reduces the absorption of liquids and stains and makes them easy to care for day to day. The material suits kitchen and bathroom surfaces, bars, window sills, stairs, wall cladding and other interior work, and is used in commercial projects as well.

The Technistone collections offer a wide span of colours and patterns, from pure whites and neutrals to dark, expressive surfaces. The range holds both more uniform decors and patterns inspired by natural stone and marble.

The Noble collection stands out for expressive natural-stone motifs and marble interpretations. It includes decors such as Noble Carrara, Noble Calacatta, Noble Pietra Grey and Noble Supreme White.

The La Natura collection is one of Technistone's newest. It draws on nature-inspired tones and stone patterns, including Emperador Beige, Perlado Bronze, Dynasty White, Nuova Crema and Venato Oro.

The Standard collection offers more classic, versatile surfaces, including whites, greys and dark tones. The Wilsonart, Serenity and Trend collections round out the range with more contemporary patterns and more expressive stone interpretations.

Technistone surfaces come in a variety of tones and finishes, including polished, matt and Terra. The material is intended for broad use, from kitchen and bathroom surfaces to stairs, wall cladding and commercial projects.
