01Materials and prices

Granite is natural stone — it takes heat extremely well and every slab is one of a kind; its protective sealer needs renewing from time to time. Quartz is engineered: around 90 % ground quartz bound with resin, so it absorbs nothing and never needs sealing, but use a trivet for hot pans. Marble is softer, with the classic veining — beautiful, though acids such as lemon and vinegar leave marks on it. Each material is described in more detail in the stone guide.
The price depends on the stone, the surface area, the thickness, the edge finish, the number of cutouts and delivery. The configurator gives you the fastest answer: choose a stone, draw your kitchen shape, and a price range appears immediately. The final price is confirmed after we measure on site.
Yes. Our workshop and showroom are at Starta iela 5, Rīga. We recommend booking ahead so we can have the slabs you are interested in ready. It is worth it: the pattern differs from slab to slab, and we always confirm the exact slab that will be cut — not a catalogue photo.
The price has three parts: the material (the stone slabs), the fabrication (cutting, edge finishing, cutouts) and the installation together with measuring and transport. The quote shows these separately, so you can see what you are paying for.

02Ordering and measurements

Five steps. 1) Measuring — the dimensions you enter in the configurator are the starting point, but before cutting we come and measure the kitchen on site. 2) Stone — we confirm the specific slab. 3) Cutting — a CNC mill cuts to a ±1 mm tolerance, with the cutouts done in the same pass. 4) Finishing — we profile and polish the edges to the profile you chose. 5) Installation — we install in a single day.
Yes, and we always do it before cutting — the accuracy of the dimensions is our responsibility, not yours. Professional measuring is one of the services in the quote. If you prefer, you can also submit your own dimensions.
Nothing bad happens. The configurator price is an approximate range, not an invoice, and we always measure the kitchen on site before cutting. The final price is confirmed after that measurement.
No. The configurator shows an approximate price range based on the stone and shape you chose. The final price is confirmed after we measure on site and the specific slab is selected.

03Fabrication and installation

If the slab you chose is in our warehouse, we fabricate the stone parts within 1–3 weeks depending on the volume. If the slab has to be ordered in, delivery can take a further 1–4 weeks depending on the manufacturer and availability. We come to measure once the stone is reserved and the kitchen units are assembled and levelled; after that we agree an installation time that suits you.
Yes. Installation is part of the quote along with measuring and transport, and it usually takes a single day — we leave you a finished kitchen, not a building site. If you would rather collect the countertop yourself, you can choose workshop pickup in the quote.

You plan the cutouts in the configurator, and a CNC mill cuts them to a ±1 mm tolerance — sink, hob and sockets in a single pass. The sink can be mounted under the surface, on top of it, or flush with it; you choose the mounting when you add the cutout.

04Care and warranty

Day to day, a soft cloth and warm soapy water are enough. Avoid abrasive cleaners and metal scourers. Cut on a board rather than on the surface, and use a trivet for hot pans. Natural stone needs its sealer renewed periodically; quartz and porcelain do not.

Get in touch by phone or email. Stone surfaces are hard to damage, but if a chip does occur it can usually be repaired — the broken piece is bonded back with an epoxy-based adhesive. We assess each case individually.
