A surface built for what comes next.
Dekton is a complex blend of raw materials derived from glass, latest generation porcelain tiles and quartz.
About the material
This innovative material paves the way for all future types of surfaces in the world of architecture and design. It resists UV radiation and so holds its colour, and it stands up to frost, scratches, deformation, stains and abrasion. The material is non-combustible and has zero hygroscopicity.
Dekton is created using an exclusive sintering technology (PST). This technological process involves an accelerated version of the metamorphic changes that natural stones undergo when exposed to high pressures and temperatures over thousands of years.
Slab size is 3200 × 1440 mm, in thicknesses of 8, 12 and 20 mm, with some shades also available in 4 and 30 mm. The 4 mm thickness is intended for furniture and wall decoration. The material comes in both matte and gloss. The large format means surfaces can be made with fewer joints.
Dekton is ideal for kitchen and bathroom surfaces, facades, walls and high-traffic areas. Dekton® XGloss has received the Red Dot international recognition.
